Thank-you for your investment, patience and trust in building an efficient, farmer-owned, fertilizer distribution system to support the logistics, storage, and blending, that you require.
As communicated in June 2017, we closed on the initial offering of Limited Partnership units and were in the process of finalizing project financing requirements. The Genesis team worked diligently to revise provisions required by the financial institution in addition to looking at alternative arrangements to move the project forward in the most effective and efficient manner. In May 2018, Genesis management began negotiations with additional investors and commenced development of a modified construction design for the first SuperCenter at Belle Plaine, SK.
We are pleased to announce that effective December 7, 2018, the Genesis team has signed definitive agreements to design and build a 20,000 MT turnkey fertilizer blending and storage facility. The facility will be designed “Attached Warehouse Ready” with capability to build 20,000 to 50,000 MT storage warehouses with live reclaim adjacent to the main facility. Other details of the Belle Plaine project will be available at www.genesisgrainandfertilizer.com and updated regularly.
We understand that this has been a long process and that you have been tremendously patient with your investment; fortunately, the Genesis team was able to identify and execute a viable strategy for the building of your first Genesis SuperCenter.
The plan is to begin commercial operations of your first SuperCenter by Fall of 2019.
We look forward to supplying your farm with your crop nutrient needs for many years to come and having you enjoy the benefits of direct ownership in the fertilizer business.
